It's been quite a while since i last updated anything on the No website.

I decided to add a couple TAD's up (mostly for examples) since Tadrs site currently seems to have corrupt downloads.

To view the current games on the website, use the TA Game Reviews in site navigation.

Wondering if anyone would like to do reviewing of some of the games.

Managed to get the Total Annihilation Music Player working like it was originally intended for this website.

It should shuffle automaticly and start each visit with a different Total Annihilation song. It also have automatic resuming feature when you browse the website pages. It features all the original ta cd songs within it's playlist.

Long Time No News :P

Have'nt really played the site untill yesterday when JiggaWhat asked me if i would like to review games for Tech Support Desk and working out something to output them somewhere.

So we talked alot and came up with something that could be fun. No website will have the reviews and TSD will host the actual TAD. Kinda odd way to do it, but with No website limited server space/file size capacity (free uCoz webhost) and JiggaWhat already full hands just keeping up with Boogieman requests and administrating/develloping TSD, it's what we came up with.

An interresting option open up also this way, No website members could become reviewers for No/TSD via a TSD shared upload/reviewed online folder bin. If you would like to become such a person and got the will, time and skills/knowledge to do it, sign up and give me a shout in the Forums or on PW/WZ! (We can use more No Smurfs) ;)

Odd's and End's

Somehow Melfice decided to close his ladder after the TA Zone Ladder was asked to be resetted.

So I have to clean up my links menu now.

TAU is saved... at least for now. Aerobic, Viperion and Me along with all the donation (gathered via a chip in pot) have bought TAU. Aero is prepping up the server to receive/migrate the site working with Gecko from what I understood at this point. I havent got an exact timeframe as to when everything will be changed and transferred to Aero server, but I think I've read end of march somewhere (probably on TAU forums).

Cowsy have set up a Trivia Bot via IRC over at Phoenix Worx, and even added TA Questions to it!

Quite enjoyable challenge for anyone and everyone if you ever played TA ;) To start it, if you ever wish to test your TA knowledge, type !Trivia TA.

I've started using gpgnet again a little to play some Forged Alliance games this last week and met up with old TA players. Alkoholick, Hyde, MM3, Hexdump and a couple others are still alive and well. Was good chatting with the lot of them after such a long time. :) Even got to see Toppo and Timmyfred on WZ today. Wonder who else will show up/make a comeback to this good old game? :)

LoC_Boogieman and JiggaWhat (hope i didnt mess his name up) have come up with their own website to help WZ players with finding TA related esentials and information after TAU recent news/events had to take down File Universe. Site is still under construction but quite functional. I've added a link in the site friends list.

TAU Admins Geck and Nexus decided that their run with TAU is coming to an end. :(

After much discussion and talk, nexus and I have decided to end our run of tauniverse, it has been quite fun, however we simply do not have the time for it.

I personally have a family now and a career, between the two of those, I do not have time to handle management of TAU. Nexus has a business that is taking too much time. This has been a large time and money sink for the both of us.

At this time we are offering the option to buy TAU (just TAU) for $2,000 to anyone in the community interested. The next step is to auction off domains and properties if the community does not buy it, which are valued at well over $2,000, however we want to offer the community the opportunity to save TAU first.

As to what will become to TAU, Some of Warzone and Phoenix Worx users as well as TAU very own community are discusing and trying to find ways to preserve this Treasure Trove of TA Information, Mods, Units, Maps and TC.

TA Universe is "THE" central point to all that is TA related for anyone that is just discovering all the possibilities of Total Annihilation to the most seasoned Commanders.

CR_PiffPaff has done it again...

This 2nd video shows more rushing and commbombs than you can shake a stick at! Also more of that cheesy 3rd level units/mods pack and some edited Dgun range ownage ! From what I know, he made his own Dgun range mod, kinda cool seeing commy dguning commy and live :P Lucky me, Piff didnt kill me with skeets in this one, and I actually roached someone! wOOt! =D

CR_PiffPaff, natural Comm Rusher "insert random insult of choise here" made a little TA gameplay movie with footage of some of the regular WarZone players. Neat part of his video is he actually included the names of the players in it. Even I get shown in it as i get killed too... by none other than PiffPaff himself ! >_<
